Cigarette company Philip Morris was a major sponsor of the arts throughout the 1970s, with photography a major focus of that support. By aligning themselves with the National Gallery of Victoria, Philip Morris purchased 700 photographs by over 100 photographers between 1976 and 1980. This single colour poster was printed on semi-translucent tracing paper.
