Arts Victoria was a program of triennial arts festivals throughout the State of Victoria. Each festival is based on a different aspect of the arts. Ken Cato designed a symbol based on the stylised letters ‘A’ and ‘V’ to suggest waving banners, a traditional festive image. The symbol design remained constant, with the colours changing for each festival. The design project included development of the symbol, stationery, brochures and posters.
